With more freedom, comes greater responsibility. With greater responsibility comes the need for better mood and behavior control. As you’ve gotten older you’ve realized that you do and say certain things that causes problems in your relationships, careers, or both. You may always say how you feel or you may keep it all bottled up, neither are helpful. You’ve tried to work on it yourself but nothing changes.
You want to handle stress better, you want to be able to manage your moods and to express what you mean. You also want your relationships to improve and to be happy—truly happy.
I will incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy to help you achieve the life you want. During our time together, you will gain a better understanding of emotions and how to recognize them, explore what thought patterns limit your success, and how to use the insight and skills learned in therapy to better manage your mood and behaviors.
